Lighthousefish
The benthic and abyssal zones, or also referred to as the deep sea, are deep cold waters. The deep sea is the largest part of the ocean. They cover over 80 % of the entire ocean. These zones of the deep sea are found beneath the pelagic zone, where light does not penetrate these waters and where marine life has adapted to the harsh environment. Most of these organisms live close to the bottom of the ocean; meanwhile some of them are permanently attached to the ground of the zone. Basically the physical characteristics of the deep sea are not a lot of light, a lot of pressure, and very cold. The lighthousefish is a deep sea creature.
