TuneIn is a privately held company based in Toronto, Ontario founded as RadioTime in Dallas, Texas in 2002. The RadioTime program guide is available as part of consumer devices such as the Logitech Squeezebox. It is also part of software products produced by Sonos, Cisco, Kodak, and Microsoft. RadioTime’s database is updated from automatic feeds, content management staff, and user contributions. TuneIn's primary product line, dubbed TuneIn Radio, uses the Radiotime engine in a suite of mobile apps for iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Samsung, Windows Phone devices and for future console Ouya. TuneIn's website and mobile apps offer the user the ability to listen to streaming audio of thousands of radio networks and radio stations in the United States and worldwide, including AM, FM, HD, LP, digital and internet stations. Additionally, a selection of podcasts are available for streaming. TuneIn's directory carries approximately 80,000 live stations and 2,000,000 podcasts. Clear Channel Communications,Radio One, CBS Radio, and Cumulus Media Networks radio stations are unavailable on TuneIn, and are instead only available on Clear Channel's similar iHeartRadio.
